Oh God, I'm in process of writing my dissertation, but wasn't thinking it is "fun" as you said here. It was, therefore, a chocking sentence to read.

What a great idea! I'm not writing a dissertation, but I am writing a novel. I think I might start incorporating this in my daily blog! :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea. I already keep a blog of my postgraduate experiences, so I might incorporate a "sentence a day" into it. Maybe some kind of graph tracking the word count as well...then again, maybe that would just be too depressing!
ReplyDeleteI finished my dissertation a 2 months ago. I don't think I could find enough good sentences to fill a note card. To get thru it, I just reminded myself that noone will ever read this anyway.
